But mainly on Hedging sugar price. He also worked for some companis in commodity products such as natural rubber, rice, tapioca, steel and gold etc. In the beginning of his career, he worked as an securities analyst for 5 years. Then worked as a corporate finance for some companies for several years. Finally he is heading to the commodity industry.

Currently, he is working as a consultant for cane farmer association, focus on forecasting the sugar price.

Mr.Pattarapong Pongsawasdi
Chief Executive Officer of The Thai Sugar Trading Corporation Limited

Since January 2025, Pattarapong Pongsawasdi was appointed as CEO of The Thai Sugar Trading Corporation Limited (TSTC), Thailand biggest sugar exporter. Prior to joining TSTC in 2020, during 2013 to 2020, he was Deputy Managing Director at Buriram Sugar Public Company Limited, Thailand, in charge of trading, policy and corporate communications. From 2003 to 2013, Pattarapong was a manager at the Thai Sugar and Bio-Energy Producers Association, his responsibilities related to Thai sugar industry’s policy and international trade policy. Pattarapong hold a M.A. in International Relations, University of Wollongong, Australia.

Dr. Seksan Phrommanich holds a Ph.D. in Biological Science (Molecular Biology) from Burapha University, Thailand, graduating in 2007. With over 16 years of experience in commercial ethanol process development, he has excelled in maximizing fermentation efficiency and has overseen various biochemical product developments in renewable energy, the feed industry, healthy foods and drinks, and biomaterials.

Currently, Dr. Seksan serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Bio Global Solution Co., Ltd. He is actively involved in the renewable energy sector, holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Renewable Energy Industry Club and Chairman of the Committee on Ethanol Industry Development within the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI). His efforts are focused on supporting the Thai ethanol industry, particularly in advancing gasohol E20 policies and facilitating sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) development in Thailand.

Dr. Seksan's key skills include biotechnology process solutions and improvements, especially in bioethanol production, fermentation process enhancement on a commercial scale, and development of bio-based products and projects. He is also experienced in agricultural waste management and value chain creation, business and project development and management, P&L management, and strategic planning.

In terms of professional experience, he has held the role of Vice President of Business Development at Bio Global Solution Co., Ltd. since 2023, while also serving as Vice Chairman of the Renewable Energy Industry Club and Chairman of the Committee on Ethanol Industry Development at FTI. Before that, he was the Business Development Manager SEAP at BL Biofuels, CLARIANT (THAILAND) LTD. from 2021 to 2022, and he served as the Director of Project Development at Simply Synergy Solution Co., Ltd. from 2019 to 2021. He also worked as a Senior Manager of Bio Chemical Business at Mitr Phol BioFuel Co., LTD. from 2014 to 2019 and held the position of Manager of the Technical and Planning Department there from 2011 to 2014. Earlier in his career, he was a Technical Specialist at Petro Green Co., LTD. from 2008 to 2011.

Dr. Seksan completed his Ph.D. in Biological Science in 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2000, both from Burapha University in Chonburi, Thailand. He has also received notable grants and fellowships, including the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Program from the Thailand Research Fund and support from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Apichai serves as the NIR Area Business Manager for BÜCHI (Thailand) Ltd in Thailand and Southeast Asia, supporting business development in near-infrared spectroscopy applications. With Food Process Engineering education from Chiang Mai University and an MBA from Thammasat University, he combines technical expertise with business acumen.

His experience spans polymers, pharmaceuticals, and food processing industries. Previously, Apichai gained experience with product handling and infeed machines for the powdered beverage mixes industry, working with systems for sticks, sachets, and pouches.

At BÜCHI, Apichai aligns technical solutions with customer needs to support process innovation. He specializes in helping clients optimize processes through NIR technology and looks forward to sharing insights on NIR solutions for process analytics and quality control.

Emmanuel Sarir is the Founder, CEO and President of Carbo Solutions International and has a Master of Science Degree from the Cranfield University in England.

In the past two decades Emmanuel and CSI have developed several patented High-Performance Adsorbents (HPA) for Sugar Treatment Solutions to increase plant productivity, reduce energy consumption and lower operating cost.

Emmanuel has published and co-authored over 20 technical papers at ISSCT, SIT, SASTA, AVH, STAI, PSST, ASSCT, PHILSUTECH, Thai Expo and Asian Sugar Conferences.
